During Wen's trial, the authorities learned he had tried to gain access on the film's premiere on two occasions, according to local news sources.
He then made a another effort to cross the barriers. Protection personnel prevented him and held him in place.
He then uploaded recordings expressing gratitude to the star for allowing his presence and said he was "released."
Police detained him the subsequent day and charged him with public nuisance, to which the man admitted guilt.
The Court Judge Christopher Goh was referenced by Channel News Asia as stating that the man sought attention, adding that he was wrong to assume he would not experience repercussions.
Grande has not commented on the situation.
Cynthia Erivo mentioned the situation to NBC, remarking that she "simply desired to make sure my colleague was safe."
