Hurt Sesko to Miss Slovenia Games but United Hopeful of Quick Return

Forward Benjamin Sesko will be absent from Slovenia's upcoming fixtures against Sweden and Kosovo because of a knee problem suffered during the recent match against Tottenham. However, Manchester United remains hopeful that he could be back soon enough to face Everton after the international break.

Injury Particulars and Timeline

The attacker had to come off after 87 minutes of Saturday's 2-2 stalemate against Tottenham after being introduced in the 58th minute for Noussair Mazraoui. Coach the team's manager voiced worry after the game, resulting in the player's withdrawal from the Slovenian squad.

Manchester United will carry out further tests at Carrington this week, but initial assessments suggest a possible return in time for the Everton on 24 November.

Other Squad Updates

Casemiro and Harry Maguire also were forced off the pitch during the Tottenham match. While the defender's condition is yet to be determined, it is believed that Casemiro is fit and has reported for national team commitments with Brazil.

Lisandro Martínez, who has been sidelined after a knee injury in February, will travel to the Argentine squad at their European training camp. But, the defender will not feature in the Friday friendly against Angola at Luanda. A member of the club's performance team will accompany the player, who has lately returned to training with Amorim's squad.
